Of course, all of this is speculation since I don't know of a way to restart it besides using the power button when the web GUI is not running. Other remote protocols should work though, since they require less memory. Interesting enough it does not fail, just times out, which has led me to believe the web server might not have enough resources to present the web page. Not sure which part goes down, but usually all the functions of the printer work, even the print server, so I think it is more of a problem of the web server in the printer.
If the gui is down most likely so is CLI, the only way around is a managed PDU. I have this problem with 2 printers, but I rarely need to login to the printer anyhow Sometimes the GUI won't work until the printer is rebooted.
